We’re not here to be fancy. We’re here to have a good time…
When we stumbled across this snug little spot in Ruthin, we didn’t think “business plan”—we thought wine. And Paris. And maybe a bit of trouble. So we built JACQUES: part wine bar, part bistro, all attitude.
Our food? French classics that don’t need re-inventing—duck confit, beef bourguignon, charcuterie that slaps. And our signature? Steak frites. Crispy fries, juicy steak, and zero fuss. The kind of dish that makes you wonder why you ever settled for less.
Pair it with something bold, like a Châteauneuf-du-Pape, or crisp, like a 1664 Blanc. Either way, you’re in good hands.
We’re not trying to impress anyone—we’re just doing what we love, with great wine, real food, and a side of soft jazz. Candlelight optional, good times guaranteed.
